Mr. Ettorre was born in Calabry, Southern Italy, in 1957 and began to play the guitar at four years old. He studied with highly acclaimed Jazz guitarist, Tonino Minardi in Ravenna. They focused on Classical and South American guitar.

When he was 17, Mr. Ettorre and his brother Giuseppe (Pino) founded the group Nabla. They played a mixture of Etno and Jazz music and were inspired by Italian classical and Etno music. Nabla was very inspired by musicians like Chick Corea, John McLaughlin and Carlos Santana.

At 18, Mr. Ettorre enrolled in the Music Conservatory of Bologna where he studied Electronic Music. He also has a degree in Electronic and Software Engineering from the Bologna University.

Mr. Ettore went on to found MechWorks where he created their flagship product; DBWorks which is used by thousands in the Enterprise Mechanical Industry - among his customers are Bosch and Siemens AG.

He has always worked in the Italian recording studios and has been requested by some of the most famous Italian artists; Alice, Eduardo Bennato, Laura Pausini, Ivana Spagna and more. He has recorded the Classical/Acoustic guitar in their best selling records.

Mr. Ettorre composed most of his music between 1975 and 1990; always inspired by the fusion between Classic, Etno and Jazz music. Recently some of his early recordings as a solo guitarist and with Nable have been published by String Records.
